What Makes Us Different
We hear regularly from Clients, consultants, contractors and others who tell us that we are different from other Architectural firms. Happily, they have been eager to share their thoughts about why! Throughout this website we have included testimonies from some of these individuals. However, we think it boils down to our approach to four things:

- Practice Architecture as a service business. Develop innovative solutions that meet the client's goals, meet budgets and schedules, produce quality documents and provide outstanding field support
History
Lynn Arrington and David Watkins, each seeking their architectural fortune (a job), escaped the bright lights of Kansas State University a year apart to settle in the Arizona desert. They met and worked together at the same large Phoenix based firm for 16 years before starting Arrington Watkins Architects, LLC in 1994.
Vision
When they started the firm, Lynn and David had the unique opportunity to think through all of their previous experiences and create a clear vision of what they wanted this firm to be: It's worked pretty darn well and still guides us today.
- Our primary focus will be client service
- We will strive for a limited number of clients with multiple projects
- We will concentrate on technically-oriented projects
- We will use technology to its maximum in meeting the needs of our clients
- We will treat our employees respectfully and as partners in our efforts
- A Principal of the firm will be intimately involved in each project that the firm undertakes.
