Arrington Watkins and CGL teamed together to provide Maricopa County, Arizona with detention master planning services to develop options for the use of current facilities and future needs with the objective of replacing aging jail facilities and improving existing jail sites over a 10 year period. The planning established that a new Intake, Transfer and Release Center(ITR) would reduce booking times and time to initial appearance thus reducing the average length of stay for a significant portion of the population while providing a better continuum of care for correction health services.
