Design and construction services for a new juvenile rehabilitation facility. This replacement facility is across the street from the existing Yuba County juvenile hall. This new facility houses 32 youths in single and double rooms divided between two separate housing units. This single-story facility includes medical exam rooms, food warming service, program space, visitation, administrative support, storage, laundry service, a secure parking area, recreation yards and public parking. The project is a highly functional, energy-efficient, and resource conscious juvenile rehabilitation facility with a heavy emphasis on education and mental health programs and services.
