The Navajo Nation Division of Public Safety selected Arrington Watkins to master plan and design a regional training facility that includes an administration office, fire/police, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) training, classrooms, and dormitories. The project is currently in completing construction documents, which includes approximately 21 acres of development and 30,000 SF of training space. The NN Division of Public Safety Regional Training Facility (DPSRTA) was located in Chinle, AZ in a central part of the reservation to make the recruiting, training, staff education and certification processes more efficient. The DPSRTA will include state of the art training components on-site that will fully support six DPS Departments and provide opportunities for joint functions with other law enforcement agencies.
