Arrington Watkins designed this 18,340 SF fire station and fire administration facility to meet the unique needs of the Ak-Chin Indian Community; as Ak-Chin’s only fire station, it is required to support all fire functions within the community and its adjacent casino and resort.

The facility includes offices, conference and training rooms, a fitness room, a dining room and kitchen, a data communications room, and living quarters for 12. Four large apparatus bays support a ladder truck, two fire engines, two ambulances, and a tanker truck.
