Arrington Watkins provided complete design and construction administration services to expand the existing dispatch center for the Town of Gilbert. Gilbert PD desires to have the “best Communication Center work environment in the Valley” for its people. The new center provides critical support for public safety services and operates 24/7. Phase 1 also included the development of a new counseling area, police administration spaces and internal affairs office area. Phase 2 included the construction of all the administrative and support spaces for the police communications division and completes all technology upgrades providing a fully functional 911 center.
At completion, the combined areas (Phases 1 & 2) were expanded to approximately 19,900 SF of renovated space. The project provides a more efficient layout and healthier stress-reducing environment to support the building occupants.
