This unique structure houses both police and fire stations, and caters to each station’s unique capabilities and needs while combining their joint resources. The station contains a joint police-fire workout facility, which serves as its central, unifying feature.
From there, the facility houses separate administrative offices, locker rooms, dorm rooms, and vehicle bays for each station. The fire department side contains four apparatus bays, dorm rooms for 12 firefighters, and captain’s administrative offices. Fire support spaces include a kitchen, laundry facility, a study room, and a common area.
